Procedure.
93.—(1) Subject to the provisions of this Order, every action in the Supreme Court, except such actions or matters as would in England be assigned to the Chancery Division of the High Court, in which the amount or value of the claim exceeds two hundred and fifty pounds shall, on the demand of either party in writing, filed in the Court seven days before the day ap- pointed for the hearing, be heard with a jury.
(2) Any other action may, on the suggestion of any party, any stage, be heard with a jury, if the Court thinks fit.

(3) Any action may be heard with a jury if the Court, of its own motion, at any stage, thinks fit.
94. (1) The Supreme Court may, if it thinks fit, hear any action with assessors.
(2) A Provincial Court shall (subject to the provisions of this Order) hear with assessors every action in which the amount or value of the claim exceeds one hundred and fifty pounds.
(3) In all other cases a Provincial Court may, as it thinks fit, hear the action either with or without assessors.
95.-The following provisions shall apply to a Local Court :- (1) The jurisdiction of a Local Court is limited to actions where the amount or value of the claim does not exceed twenty pounds, provided that with the consent of the parties the Court shall have jurisdiction up to forty pounds.
(2) A Local Court shall, within fourteen days after the determination of any action, report the action to the Provincial Court, and transmit to that Court a copy of the proceedings.
(3) A Local Court shall have power to enforce any order for the payment of money by execution on the goods of the party ordered to pay, and not otherwise.
96. (1) After the issue of a summons by any Court, the decision of that Court may be given upon a special case sub- mitted to the Court by the parties.
(2) Any decision of a Provincial Court may be given subject to a case to be stated by, or under the direction of, that Court for the opinion or direction of the Supreme Court.
97. Subject to the provisions of this Order and the Rules of Court, the costs of, and incident to, all proceedings in the Court shall be in the discretion of the Court, provided that if the action is tried with a jury the costs shall follow the event, unless the Court shall for good cause (to be recorded in the Minutes) otherwise order.

Arbitration.
98. In the application of the Arbitration Act, 1889, (a) by the Court in the exercise of its civil jurisdiction on the principles and in conformity with English law for the time being :-
(a) there shall be substituted for the definition of Court

the Supreme Court ", for the definition of Judge the Judge of the Supreme Court", for the words Her Majesty's Court of Appeal the words the Full Court for the words "the United Kingdom the word

(b) the duties of an official referee shall be performed by
the Registrar;
(c) section 21 shall not apply in Egypt.
Bankruptcy.
99. Each Court shall, so far as circumstances admit, have, for and within its own district, with respect to the following classes of persons being either resident in Egypt or carrying on business there, namely, British subjects and their debtors and creditors, being British subjects, or foreigners submitting to the jurisdiction of the Court, all such jurisdiction in bankruptcy as for the time being belongs to the High Court and the County Courts in England.
Matrimonial.
100. The Supreme Court shall, so far as circumstances admit, have for and within Egypt, with respect to British subjects, all such jurisdiction in matrimonial causes as for the time being belongs to the High Court in England.
101. Where a maintenance order, within the meaning of Section 10 of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforce- ment) Act, 1920, (b) which Act does not apply in Egypt, has been made against any person by any Court in any part of His Majesty's dominions, the Supreme Court may, upon the appli- cation of any interested party and if it seems fit to the Court, register the Order, and such Order shall from the date of such registration be of the same force and effect and all proceedings may be taken thereon as if the Order had originally been obtained in the Supreme Court.
102. In the application of the Legitimacy Act, 1926.(c) by the Court in the exercise of its civil jurisdiction on the principles of and in conformity with English law for the time being:
(a) a domicil in Egypt shall have the like effect as a domicil
in England;
